Sacrilege Of Truth

The day you say you can give me up

That day wouldn’t boast of life.

The day I say I’ve lost enough

That day would never survive.

The moments you see, are passing by

Shall mark my own demise.

A soul you loved, a throne you liked

But now the nascence of a solitary fight.

And yet there is no melancholy

And yet there is no cry

For all you know,

Is your heart to hold

Oblivion, it’s a lie.

The cure you see upon the shore

But the winds do not acquaint.

And I look back in scared pensive

How I wooed my woes.

Fear, a foul, you reared a crown

Reminiscence makes me faint

And all the threads not woven, found

But now they’d be worn no more

All that’s left a silent wail

The words they don’t come out

A numbness lurks in friendly grail

A fear we never shout

To bid adieu to this insistent wave

To say we won’t be long

And yet there is no agony

And yet there is no pain

There are seasons we spent together

But yet, there is no rain……
