His Demise

Written in class 10th:

He went into a deep-deep sleep

Deep enough to make everyone weep.

He is closing his eyes for the last time

And going to live beyond life

That world will not have fear of demise

Where people would like to go umpteen times

He’ll go there unwillingly

But will stay there convincingly.

That world will fill all his desires

Then he’ll not have time to think of priors

He’ll have to sustain a little pain,

But all that won’t go in vain

No one can stop his from going there

For it is decided for one who’s living up there

So why cry for good done to others

Let him go in peace and fly without feathers

He’ll only not eat his usual bread.

But we can still see him in the stars up there.
